Tags are single or multi-word descriptors or labels containing any characters, including international language and emoji characters, to describe, categorize or group related articles together.

Tags can be customized further with text and background colors to set them apart visually from one another. When a tag is created for the first time, Cognie assigns a color scheme automatically using the Auto Color method. To set the color, select Tag Color... command from the tag action menu located next to the tag in the Navbar.

An article in cognie can have any number of tags assigned to categorize and group them. Tags let you quickly categorize information to make it easy to find and search later.
