Manage Attachments

Any external file can be added to an article in Cognie as an attachment. As part of the attachment process, files are uploaded to the article storage and attached to the article that can be accessed and viewed later from any device.

To attach a file to an article, click the Attachment button from the article header and click the Add button from the dropdown panel and select or drop a file from the local disk and click the Attach button. All attachments are listed in the dropdown panel and can be viewed by selecting the attachment. The attachment panel is shown below:

To update the name and description of the attachment or to delete them, click the Manage button from the attachment panel, which opens a side panel with all the attachments listed as shown below:

Click the More button to the right of each item to bring up the actions menu for each attachment as shown below:

Select the Download, Edit, or Delete action to manage the attachment.
